Die Sopranistin wurde in Trier geboren und lernte schon während ihrer Kindheit Klavier und Ballett. Gesang studierte sie bei ihrem Vater Günther Wolfram Nezhoda. Nach dem Abitur zog es sie in die Musikstadt Wien, wo sie ein Jahr am »Studio Theater an der Wien« unter Peter Weck lernte, und anschließend ihr Musikstudium am Konservatorium der Stadt Wien bei Lilo Mracek-Klingenbeck und Robert Opratko mit Diplom abschloss. Zeitgleich besuchte sie Meisterkurse bei David Bender und Jewgeni Nesterenko.
Während des Studiums arbeitete sie mit Regisseuren wie Werner Sobotka und Dennis Callahan am »Theater an der Wien«, und nahm zusätzlich Schauspielunterricht bei Michael Niavarani. 1993 war sie Siegerin des »Internationalen Nico Dostal Gesangswettbewerbes«. Nach ihrem Debüt als Gräfin Mariza im Stadttheater Biel/Solothurn folgten Rollen wie die Juliska in »Maske in Blau« am Theater in Kaiserslautern und Heilbronn oder die Janka aus Nico Dostals »Ungarischer Hochzeit« und die Lisa aus »Land des Lächelns« am Landestheater St. Pölten. 1997 holte sie Walter Kobèra und Roland Geyer nach Wien zum Klangbogenfestival, wo sie als Fledermaus Rosalinde debütierte. Diese Rolle brachte sie auch ans Volkstheater Rostock. Zu ihrer Lieblingspartie gehört die Saffi aus »Der Zigeunerbaron«, mit der sie zu Gast beim Operettenfestival in Bad Ischl war, wo sie die darauffolgenden Jahre als Operettendiva engagiert war. 2005 sang sie bei der Operettengala in der Kammeroper Wien und im Mozartjahr 2006 war sie die Bastienne aus Mozarts »Bastien und Bastienne« bei den Mozartfestspielen des Landes Salzburg.

Letzteres wurde auf CD produziert, und von der Robert-Stolz-Stiftung ausgezeichnet.
Ihr Herz gehört Wien, wo sie mit ihrer Familie lebt.

The soprano was born in Trier, Germany, daughter of two opera singers. Already in her childhood she studied piano and ballet. She also received voice lessons from her father Günther Wolfram Nezhoda. After finishing high school (Gymnasium) she moved to Vienna where she studied drama under Peter Weck at the Theater an der Wien studio. She completed her music studies with distinction under Lilo Mracek-Klingenbeck and Robert Opratko at the famous Conservatory of Vienna. Additionally, she took master’s courses with David Bender, Barbara Meister and Jewgeni Nesterenko. Throughout her studies, Ms. Schullern worked with directors such as Werner Sobotka and Dennis Callahan at the Theater an der Wien and had subsequent acting training with Michael Niavarani. In 1993 she won the International Nico Dostal Competition.
After her debut as Countess Mariza with the Theatre Biel-Solothurn (Switzerland), roles followed like Juliska in “Mask in Blue” at Theater Kaiserslautern and Theater Heilbronn and Janka from Nico Dostal’s “The Hungarian wedding” and Lisa from “The Land of Smiles” at the State Theatre of Lower Austria at St. Pölten.
In 1997 Walter Kobèra and Roland Geyer brought her back to Vienna to the KlangBogen Festival, where she debuted as Rosalinde in Johann Strauss’ “The Bat” (“Die Fledermaus”). This role brought her also to the Rostock Folk Theatre. Her favourite role is Saffi from “The Gipsy Baron”, which she played when she was a guest performer at the Lehár Festival in Bad Ischl, where she appeared the following years as an operetta diva. In 2005 she sang at the Operetta Gala in the Vienna Chamber Opera and in Mozart Year 2006, she was Bastienne from Mozart’s “Bastien and Bastienne” at the Salzburg Mozart Festival Play.
Tatiana Schullern has also a wide concert repertoire, which includes oratorios and masses ranging from Pergolesi, Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, to Gabriel Faurè. Included in her song repertoire are arias from the Italian Baroque as well as the Classical period, and Romantic and the Modern ages. International concert activity brought Mrs. Schullern to western and eastern European countries as well as to the USA and Canada.
Tatiana Schullern also performs solo programs with Salon Orchestra, including for instance “Love’s Roundabout” ("La Ronde de l'Amour"), an evening of chansons by Ralph Benatzky, Robert Stolz, and Oscar Straus. That latter was produced on CD and featured by the Robert Stolz Foundation.

La soprano Tatjana Schullern est née en Allemagne de parents chanteurs d'opéra. Après avoir étudié la voix avec son père, elle est reçue en 1989 comme étudiante au studio du théâtre an der Wien, une des écoles musicales majeures en Europe.
Elle a ensuite continué ses études vocales au prestigieux conservatoire de la ville de Vienne. A l’issue de ses études en 1993, elle est invitée à se produire en Suisse, Autriche, Hongrie, Allemagne, aux Etats-Unis ainsi qu'au Canada.Le répertoire de Tatjana Schullern est important allant de l’opérette à l’opéra. Celui-ci inclut des rôles comme ceux de Rosalinde (La chauve-souris), Michaela (Carmen), La Comtesse (Le mariage de Figaro) et Violetta (La Traviata). En plus de ses nombreuses apparitions en concert, Mme Schullern a été également invitée à participer au festival de Klangbogen de Vienne et au concert donné à Vienne au bénéfice d’ «Amnesty International». Tatjana Schullern a été récompensée par la remise du «diplôme d’honneur» de la société Robert Stolz pour la remarquable production du CD «La Ronde de l'Amour».
